Kovall Construction

Established in 1950 by Albert Frank Kovall making it Ely’s oldest operating construction company with three generations of carpenters meeting the needs of their customers. Ownership passed from Albert to Ray Hanninen, his son in law, and recently Mark Hanninen became co-owner and foreman following in the family footsteps. For over fifty years the residents of Ely and the surrounding areas have called Kovall Construction to meet all of their building requirements.

With a company motto of ‘No job too large or small’ Kovall Construction will accept any building project. Highly qualified carpenters with years of experience in: Timber frame construction, custom homes, log homes, additions, custom cabinetry, and remodeling. In addition to large scale construction projects, the company also does: decks, log decks and railings, patios, roofs, siding, slabs, log railings, window replacement, sheet rocking, painting, gazebos, ceramic tile, cultured stone facing, etc.
